About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Encoder to join our team at Olympic Village Enterprises Inc.'. As a Data Encoder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data, supporting the overall operations and decision-making processes of the company. This is a full-time position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately encode and update product information, including new SKUs, pricing, categories, and other details into the company’s database systems.
2. Process volume of data entries, corrections, deliveries, and pullouts in a timely manner.
3. Perform regular data validation and cleanup to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the masterfile.
4. Assist in preparing and consolidating data for monthly reports using tools like MS Excel or Google Sheets.
5. Coordinate with various departments to fulfill data-related requests and resolve discrepancies.
6. Support store operations by assisting with data requirements and other in-store technologies.
7. Maintain organized records of data requests, changes, and reports.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Data Encoder or in a similar data entry role.
2. Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a high level of attention to detail.
3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including experience with formulas, tables, and validations.
4. Familiarity with database management and POS systems is a significant advantage.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
7. Good communication skills for coordinating with different teams.
8. Experience in a retail, wholesale, or E-Commerce environment is highly preferred.
