Data Encoder

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Encoder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate records across our digital databases and systems. The ideal candidate has exceptional typing speed, a high level of accuracy, and a strong commitment to data confidentiality and security.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately input numerical and textual data from source documents (digital or physical) into company databases, spreadsheets, or enterprise software
• Review data for errors, missing information, or duplicates. Compare inputted data against source documents and resolve discrepancies immediately
• Update existing records, organize digital files, and ensure information is properly categorized and easily retrievable
• Compile, format, and generate periodic reports or summaries as requested by management
• Handle sensitive company and customer information with strict discretion, adhering to data privacy policies and cybersecurity best practices
• Assist with general office administrative tasks, scanning, filing, and document management as needed

About you

• College Graduate or Level.
• Strong working knowledge of office productivity tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and basic database management systems
• Proven high-speed typing capabilities (typically 50+ words per minute) with a low error rate
• Meticulous approach to work, with the ability to spot subtle inconsistencies or errors in large volumes of data
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily processing deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills to clarify ambiguous source data with supervisors or team members
