Data Engineer (1-year contract)

Responsibilities:

• Participated in and contribute to enterprise-wide data platform unification initiatives, supporting the modernization and consolidation of data ecosystems.
• Design, develop, and implement Databricks solutions, including data engineering workflows, advanced functions, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing frameworks, and end-to-end data integration solutions.
• Develop scalable data platforms using Python, Azure Data Services, and Delta Lake, ensuring data quality, performance, and governance.
• Experience with real-time data processing technologies is advantageous, particularly streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka and related event-driven architectures.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, including Databricks solution design, development, and implementation.
• Solid knowledge of Azure data ecosystem, Python programming, Delta Lake, and enterprise data platform modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing frameworks, and end-to-end data integration solutions.
• Experience with real-time data processing technologies such as Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures is preferred.
