Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, SQL, Python, and PySpark. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, managing data ingestion, and ensuring data quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services.

Process and analyze large volumes of data using SQL, Python, and PySpark.

Build API-based and batch data ingestion pipelines.

Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Step Functions, and Lambda.

Implement data modeling, partitioning, and metadata management.

Maintain data quality, data lineage, and data reliability.

Optimize data processing performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot pipeline issues and ensure smooth data operations.

Required Skills 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark.

Experience with AWS S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Step Functions, and Lambda.

Good understanding of data modeling and data processing frameworks.

Experience in API-based and batch data ingestion.

Knowledge of partitioning strategies, metadata management, and data lineage.

Strong understanding of data quality, scalability, and reliability.

Valid AWS certification is mandatory.

Additional Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Availability to work in the IST time zone.

Contract Details

This is a remote contract opportunity for an initial period of 3 months. Candidates should be comfortable with the specified contract duration and monthly budget.
