Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data engineering, databases, and cloud technologies, with the ability to transform complex data into reliable solutions for business and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes for large datasets.
• Manage data warehouses, databases, and data lakes.
• Ensure data quality, security, reliability, and governance.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Develop data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and integration issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor data systems and improve performance and efficiency.
• Document data processes, architectures, and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, databases, and data warehouses.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, and big-data technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple technical projects.
