About the role
Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise reporting solutions using SSRS, including operational, management, financial, regulatory, and ad-hoc reports.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimise MSSQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL Server Agent jobs to support reporting and data requirements
- Develop and maintain SSIS ETL processes and system integrations, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
- Support PowerShell automation, SSH/SFTP file transfers, batch processing, and PGP/GPG encryption and decryption for secure and automated data exchange
- Provide Level 2/3 production support, including incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimisation, deployment, and SLA management
- Work closely with business users and application teams to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy and report reliability, and maintain technical documentation and governance standards
