Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Developer / Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data technologies and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions and pipelines supporting analytics and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
• Develop data solutions and curated datasets using SQL and PySpark.
• Work with Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Integrate and transform data from enterprise applications such as SAP and Salesforce.
• Support Power BI dashboards and reporting requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, lineage and documentation.
• Work with Azure DevOps for code management and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Contribute to scalable data models and architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Development / Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows.
• Strong experience in Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark and Apache Spark.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, transformations and optimization.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps – Repos, Pipelines and Boards.
• Good understanding of data governance, security and compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Power BI experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Salesforce data integration.
• Life Sciences domain experience.
• Knowledge of GxP / 21 CFR Part 11.
• DP-700 certification.
• Databricks Data Engineer certification.
• PL-300 certification.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
