Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to design, build and manage our data & systems infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring our data is organized, accessible, and secured, enabling effective data-driven decision-making across the organization by integrating the data with systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data models: Create logical and physical data models to support business processes.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse: Build and manage scalable data storage solutions.
• Integrate data from various sources: Combine data from different systems, primarily from operating technologies (OT) to create a unified view.
• Ensure data quality and integrity: Implement processes to validate and clean data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with business users and IT teams to understand their data needs and deliver effective solutions.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in database engineering or database management role.
• Understand data architecture, data modelling and operating technologies.
• Expertise in database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Database (SQL / NoSQL).
