Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain data systems that support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work with technical teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, secure and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collect, transform and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Develop and optimise databases and data processing systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, security and availability.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts and software engineers.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow data governance standards.
• Support the implementation of cloud-based data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of databases, ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is desirable.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
