Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and analytics.
  • Build APIs and data services that connect internal systems and external partners.
  • Develop and optimize data models for relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring they scale as we grow.
  • Ensure data quality, testing, and monitoring best practices are in place to deliver value to users.
  • Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, and RDS to manage data infrastructure.
  • Participate in architectural discussions about data and ML systems, contributing curiosity and vision.
  • Use version control (Git) and collaborate effectively within agile teams.
  • Document processes and share knowledge, helping others grow and learn.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, and SQL; excited to learn new tools and languages.
  • Familiarity with API design and consumption.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, etc.).
  • Understanding of data modelling, database design, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
  • Awareness of data quality, testing, and monitoring best practices.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with an interest in leveraging AI for data workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data or ML.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation/orchestration tools (e.g., n8n).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., AWS CDK).
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or an interest in applying AI tools for data workflows.

You share our Core Values

  • Extreme Ownership
  • Willingness to Serve (Unreasonable Hospitality)
  • A relentless Growth Mindset
  • Playing Offense, not Defense
  • Staying confidently Humble, never Arrogant
