Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join TPCS Public Company Limited in a full-time capacity. Based in Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok, this role is pivotal to our data infrastructure and analytics operations. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems that enable the organization to harness the power of data for strategic decision-making. This position plays a critical role in supporting our business intelligence initiatives and ensuring data accessibility across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to extract data from SAP and core enterprise systems.
• Define data structures and business data definitions in collaboration with data owners across departments.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency, validating that AI output aligns with source data systems.
• Organize and structure data within Google Workspace to support seamless AI integration.
• Manage and control data access permissions in compliance with enterprise data security guidelines and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and solid hands-on experience with Python.
• Proven track record in building and managing Data Pipelines and ETL processes.
• Prior experience extracting data from ERP systems, particularly SAP, is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of data governance principles and PDPA compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business units and technical teams.
