Along with our partner, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will design and optimize scalable data pipelines and models that power the business insights driving their growth. You will leverage cloud technologies, automation, and modern data engineering practices to transform complex datasets into reliable, high-quality assets. Working closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data Science, you will translate business needs into robust technical solutions that improve data accessibility, performance, and governance — all in service of helping our partner become a more data-informed, faster-moving company.

About the Team:

Our partner's Data Engineering team is a lean, high-impact group building the data foundations that power measurement, personalization, and product innovation. Operating at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and business strategy, they deliver scalable pipelines and accurate performance insights that drive decisions across the organization — from merchandising and member experience to marketing efficiency and supply chain. They move quickly, own problems end-to-end, and build systems that directly influence how the business grows. If you want to build reliable, scalable data systems with real, visible impact, this is the team for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and models using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to support Fabletics' commerce, membership, and marketing data needs.
  • Integrate and transform data from multiple sources — including e-commerce platforms, CRM, logistics, and third-party tools — with strong quality, observability, and governance standards.
  • Orchestrate and automate workflows using Airflow and CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and support DevOps tasks including deployments, monitoring, and environment management.
  • Optimize pipelines for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, efficient data solutions that support Fabletics' pace of business.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, including scalable pipeline development, data integration, and data modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, and workflow orchestration with Airflow.
  • Solid understanding of Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and cost management within the platform.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions and infrastructure automation with Terraform.
  • Strong grounding in data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices.
  • Ability to design resilient data architectures across warehouses, lakes, and streaming systems.
  • Proven skill in translating complex business requirements into effective, maintainable data solutions.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and how they integrate with data engineering workflowA genuine interest in integrating AI and LLMs into daily engineering work, including agentic development patterns — building autonomous, multi-step AI workflows that enhance data pipelines and engineering productivity — without sacrificing simplicity or code maintainability.
  • Bonus: experience in retail, e-commerce, or subscription/membership business models.

Benefits:

  • A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
  • Work with a high-impact Data Engineering team on scalable, business-critical data platforms.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
  • 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
