About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and maintain scalable, reliable data infrastructure and pipelines.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure high-quality data is available for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Develop data processing and transformation solutions using Python and SQL
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, applications, and third-party systems
• Build and maintain data models and data warehouse solutions
• Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, and data processing workflows
• Implement data quality checks, validation, monitoring, and error handling
• Build and manage workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools
• Work with cloud-based data infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and data quality issues
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams
• Maintain documentation and follow software engineering best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related role
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Experience handling large datasets and optimizing SQL queries
• Understanding of data quality, monitoring, and pipeline optimization
• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment

Nice to Have

Experience with:

• AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, or EMR
• Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
• dbt
• Apache Spark
• Kafka or other streaming technologies
• Docker and CI/CD
• Power BI or Tableau
• Mobility, logistics, transportation, or marketplace platforms
