Your new role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll join the team on a 12 month fixed term basis and focus on building, maintaining and improving data pipelines. You’ll work across a modern data stack including Snowflake, dbt and Airflow to ensure data is reliable, accessible and ready for use across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise scalable data pipelines
• Develop data transformation workflows using dbt
• Work with Snowflake as a core cloud data platform
• Build and manage data workflows using Airflow
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance
• Support data quality, reliability and availability
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Contribute to data engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data focused role
• Strong hands on experience with Snowflake
• Practical experience using dbt
• Experience building and orchestrating workflows with Airflow
• Proven experience designing and building data pipelines
• Strong SQL skills
• Good understanding of modern data engineering practices
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
