About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python to join our fast-growing network. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, optimize data systems, and contribute to architecture decisions that power data-driven products.

This is a key role for engineers who enjoy working in distributed environments, writing clean and efficient code, and solving complex challenges in data processing and analytics at scale.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to integrate data from diverse sources.
• Develop scalable data models and architectures, including data lakes and data warehouses.
• Optimize queries and workflows to ensure high performance and data reliability.
• Partner with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and quality using modern frameworks and tooling (e.g., Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Collibra).
• Introduce automation and monitoring to reduce manual processes and improve reliability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Prefect).
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, PySpark).
• Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Solid knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles..

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data lakehouse concepts (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Hudi).
• Experience with streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Exposure to machine learning workflows or advanced analytics.
