Data Engineer

Position: Data Engineer (SME)

Employment Type: 12-month contract (renewable)

Location: Metro Manila (Office Address to be confirmed)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid , Monday–Friday

Working Hours in PH time: 9AM - 6 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Data SME to support a data engineering initiative leveraging Azure and Databricks. The role requires hands-on experience in data warehousing, SQL/Python, system integration, and SDLC activities, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end SDLC activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Assist in data warehouse design and development, including dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and data quality.
• Support data pipeline development, testing, and troubleshooting using Azure and Databricks.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL and Python scripts for data validation, transformation, and analysis.
• Support system integrations using FTP/SFTP, MQ, and APIs between source and target systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Experience in SDLC processes, including requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Good knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Databricks, SQL, and Python or similar.
• Familiarity with system integrations, including FTP/SFTP, MQ, and APIs or similar.
• Strong communication skills with hands-on experience supporting live data platforms.

Pay: Php180,000.00 - Php300,000.00 per month
