Data Engineer

Qualifications

• 3 years of solid experience as Data Engineer
• Extensive experience with AWS (Glue, Redshift)
• Knowledge of Azure (Synapse, Data Factory) / GCP (BigQuery, EMR, Dataproc) is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Flink, and Scala or Java
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience managing workflows using Apache Airflow, Prefect, and Dagster
• Versed in Kimball methodology, star/snowflake schemas, or Data Vault
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform or CloudFormation

Job Details

• Project based (4 months initial contract - extendable)
• Location: #66 United St., Mandaluyong City

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
• Data Architecture: Design scalable data warehouses, lakes, and lakehouses
• Data Quality: Implement automated validation, cleansing, and monitoring systems
• Performance Tuning: Optimize slow-running queries and data processing jobs
• Collaboration: Work with technical teams to maintain clean datasets

Pay: Php55,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
