Project

A Data Solution Specialist role focused on the design, evolution and administration of enterprise data platforms and SAP Business Objects environments. The mission combines data modelling, database management, release management, data migrations, reporting platform administration and performance optimization, ensuring reliable and scalable data solutions across multiple environments.

The role contributes to the evolution of SAP Business Objects platforms, the design of high-performance data pipelines and the modernization of reporting and analytics capabilities, working closely with data, reporting and infrastructure teams.

Role

• Design and maintain enterprise data schemas and data models
• Manage database administration and data infrastructure activities
• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines
• Create, maintain and evolve SAP Business Objects Universes
• Implement and manage SAP Business Objects security models
• Configure users, groups, roles and access permissions
• Manage row-level, object-level and folder-level security
• Automate end-to-end deployment and release processes across environments
• Perform SAP Business Objects platform upgrades and migration activities
• Lead universe migration initiatives from UNV to UNX
• Support SAP Business Objects version migration projects
• Analyze dependencies between universes, reports, schedules and data sources
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Support data migration and release management activities
• Participate in functional, regression, performance and security testing
• Validate reports, universes and data integrity after migrations
• Collaborate with reporting, analytics and infrastructure teams
• Contribute to data governance and platform optimization initiatives
• Produce and maintain technical documentation

We are looking for

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP platforms
• Strong SAP Business Objects knowledge (mandatory)
• Experience managing enterprise-scale SAP BO environments
• Experience supporting large reporting ecosystems with hundreds or thousands of users
• Experience designing and administering reporting and data platforms
• Strong database management knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata or similar database technologies
• Experience designing data models and data structures
• Experience with release management and deployment processes
• Experience with data migration activities
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
