Role Summary

You’ll be part of the Data Warehouse team where you, together with your colleagues, will maintain and evolve our client's enterprise data warehouse platform. The team supports data engineers across the organization by providing a reliable, scalable platform, ensuring performance, availability, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and product teams while helping drive the migration from Azure to AWS. As a team, we collaborate openly, share knowledge, and support each other in solving complex challenges. We value curiosity, continuous improvement, and creating solutions that make a lasting impact.

Job Description:

• maintaining and optimizing our client's enterprise data warehouse platform
• supporting the migration of data warehouse capabilities from Microsoft Azure to AWS
• building, improving, and supporting data engineering pipelines and data warehouse workloads
• monitoring platform performance and identifying opportunities for optimization and cost efficiency
• enabling and supporting data engineers across the organization in delivering high-quality data solutions
• applying data warehousing best practices, troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to platform reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• have experience working with data warehousing concepts, platforms, and data modelling techniques.
• have strong hands-on Python and SQL skills with DevOps and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps etc.) knowledge.
• can design, develop, and support data pipelines for large-scale data workloads using cloud-based data platforms preferably on AWS such as Glue ETL, Redshift, Databricks etc.
• understand performance optimization, monitoring, and operational support within a data platform environment
• can collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across a large organisation
• have completed a degree within computer science, software engineering, data engineering, or equivalent experience.
