Role: Data Engineer

Experience: 5+ years

Duration: 6+ months (contract)

Location:Remote for other locations candidates, Hybrid for Chennai location candidates (1 week per month onsite). Bangalore candidates are also fine and can be placed at the client location.

Budget: Open

Positions: 6 total

· 2 positions: Python, PySpark Data Engineer with GenAI exposure

· 4 positions: Data Engineer (core skills only)

Notice Period: Up to 30 days accepted; priority for candidates who can join in 15-20 days.

Interview Process: Three rounds totally, One face-to-face round is mandatory for all positions.

Mandatory Skills

· Very strong communication skills (non-negotiable)

· Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Python, PySpark and SQL

· 5+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering

· Strong hands-on SQL scripting

· Solid understanding of data engineering concepts

· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services

Good to Have

· Generative AI and LLM knowledge (an added advantage for general positions; expected for the 2 GenAI positions)

Key Screening Points

1. Communication must be excellent, so check this on the call itself.

2. Confirm the candidate is willing to attend a face-to-face interview.

3. Confirm the notice period (15-20 days preferred, 30 days maximum).

4. Confirm they are comfortable with hybrid work (1 week per month in Chennai).

5. Verify 4+ years of hands-on Python, PySpark and SQL, not just overall experience.

Pay: ₹509,000.00 - ₹2,080,000.00 per year
