Job Description Data Engineer Location : Mumbai | 🏢 Hybrid (4 Days Office, 1 Day Remote)

We are looking for Junior Data Engineers who are passionate about working with large-scale data systems and modern data pipelines . This role is ideal for professionals looking to strengthen their skills in Big Data and cloud-based data engineering .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
• Work with Python (PySpark), SQL, and Big Data tools
• Support batch and streaming ETL workflows
• Optimize queries and improve data processing performance
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
• Basic to intermediate experience with PySpark / Spark SQL
• Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines
• Exposure to Hadoop, Hive, and Big Data ecosystems
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile environments

Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Processing
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of data modelling
• Exposure to workflow scheduling tools (Autosys or similar)
• Familiarity with AWS services and SDKs
