Role: Data Engineer

Location: REMOTE (within EU/EUROPE)

Duration: 6 Months
Key Skills: Microsoft Fabric
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for large data volumes
- Design, develop and maintain databases, data warehouses and ETL processes
- Collaborate with BI & Analytics experts and data stakeholders to align infrastructure with analytical goals
- Ensure data quality, integrity and security across the entire data lifecycle
- Optimise data infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness
- Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a data engineer
- Experience working in an international/multicultural environment
- At least 2 end-to-end implementations on the Microsoft data platform (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks on Azure, ADF)
Experience in data migration, archiving or legacy data preservation projects; public sector/EU institutions is an advantage
