A forward-thinking, technology-focused company is looking for a Data Engineer to help develop its data capabilities using Python, AWS and modern engineering practices. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, building solutions that handle complex data requirements and support new applications of AI.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for turning raw data into reliable, usable assets, developing pipelines and processing frameworks that can operate at scale. Working alongside other technical specialists, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of cloud-based data solutions, with scope to work on the infrastructure and services supporting machine learning and Generative AI.

Data Engineer - Key Requirements:

• At least 4 years' commercial experience in Data Engineering
• Advanced Python skills and experience developing robust data processing applications
• Practical experience building data solutions on AWS
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling large or complex datasets
• Knowledge of modern processing technologies such as Apache Spark
• Experience developing cloud-based data storage and processing solutions
• Familiarity with version control, automated deployment and Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to machine learning, AI or Generative AI applications
• Experience delivering technical solutions in large, complex organisations
