Data Engineer (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Get requirement from users and Design data model, reports based on requirements

• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark/PySpark, Python, and advanced SQL.

• Implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.

• Work with cloud data platforms across Azure and AWS.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems by implementing validation rules, logging, and monitoring.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices using Git.

• Monitor ETL job performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data pipelines and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong Spark/PySpark, Python, Advanced SQL, Delta Lake, and Data Modelling skills.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Azure: Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Data Factory/Workflows.
• AWS: S3, Glue, Glue Data Catalog, EMR/Athena/Databricks.
• Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, CDC, and high-TPS data processing is a plus.
