Data Engineer (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support business analytics.
• Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and storage for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, structured, and production-ready datasets.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline integrity, and security while resolving system bottlenecks.
• Automate data workflows and monitoring processes to ensure high availability and minimal manual effort.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in data engineering or a similar technical capacity.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning for RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Experience with orchestration tools (such as Airflow) and cloud data platforms (such as BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS, or Spark).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative team player abilities.
