Data Engineer (data warehouse, Databricks)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple data sources.
• Develop and support data warehouse, data-mart, and data-model solutions.
• Build and optimise data-processing workflows using Databricks.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery for reporting and analytics.
• Work closely with business users, analysts, and IT teams to deliver data solutions.
• Support cloud-data migration, integration, and enhancement projects.
• Troubleshoot data-pipeline and data-quality issues.

Requirements

• Around 3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related areas.
• Solid experience in data warehouse development and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and strong SQL skills.
• Exposure to Python, PySpark, or similar data-processing technologies is preferred.
• Azure cloud experience is highly preferred, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, or Synapse.
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
