Data Engineer (ETL)

Location: Philippines – Cybergate, Mandaluyong

Work Schedule: Dayshift – HYBRID (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Type of Employment: Contractual (6 month-initial contract, possible absorption/extension depending on performance)

*****Amenable for a three company-paid work trips per year outside of NCR. The duration of these trips will range from two weeks to one month, depending on company needs*****

About the role

As a Data Engineer (ETL) at Rising Tide Digital, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's data infrastructure. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support the company's data-driven decision making. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the availability, reliability, and quality of the company's data assets across its Mandaluyong City Metro Manila offices.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it into a format suitable for analysis, and load it into the company's data warehouse or other storage systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of the company's data
• Automate and streamline ETL processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

What we're looking for

• Solid experience (3+ years) in data engineering, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows to integrate data from multiple internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and hybrid storage solutions
