Overview of the Role:

1. As a Data Engineer specializing in the enhancement and maintenance of FinOps Dashboards, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial operations and delivering actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. Your expertise in SQL and Python will enable you to develop, maintain, and evolve critical dashboard solutions that support business objectives across the organization.
2. Detailed Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize FinOps dashboards to provide clear, actionable financial insights.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing dashboard functionalities to accommodate evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Leverage SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Monitor dashboard performance and implement improvements to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards in all engineering activities.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for ongoing support and scalability.

Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-centric role.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience working with dashboard and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Familiarity with financial operations (FinOps) concepts is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
