Project

A Data Engineer role focused on designing, developing and optimizing data platforms and data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The mission combines cloud-native data engineering, data integration, analytics and consulting, helping organizations transform data into actionable insights while leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.

The role operates within a consultancy environment, working closely with clients and delivery teams to design scalable data architectures, implement data solutions and support business intelligence initiatives.

Role

• Design, develop and maintain data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Build and optimize data pipelines and data integration processes
• Develop scalable data processing solutions using GCP services
• Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation and orchestration workflows
• Work with large datasets and support analytics and reporting initiatives
• Develop SQL and Python solutions for Data Engineering and Business Intelligence projects
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions
• Contribute to cloud architecture and data platform design decisions
• Support Business Intelligence and data analytics use cases
• Produce technical documentation and project deliverables
• Apply cloud and data engineering best practices
• Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
• Act as a consultant, providing guidance and recommendations to clients
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends and cloud capabilities

We are looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies
• Strong experience in Data Engineering environments
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience delivering Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence projects
• Experience working with cloud-native data architectures
• Consultancy experience (valued)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
