About the role

In this role, you will:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses on AWS
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Go, and SQL to make data reliable and easy to use
• Improve data quality, monitoring, and performance
• Work closely with engineering and business teams
• Use AI tools to support your daily development work

What success looks like

In your first few months, you will:

• Make data easier to trust and use across teams
• Help ensure that our data pipelines run reliably and are easy to monitor
• Build and maintain clear, scalable data models
• Identify and improve data-quality and performance issues
• Take ownership of your work and collaborate closely with the team

About you

• Experience with AWS-based data infrastructure
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL, Go development as well as strong SQL & data modeling skills
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses
• Understanding of data quality, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Experience with Codex or other AI-assisted development tools
• Fluent in Serbian and English

Nice-to-haves:

• Hands-on experience with dbt and Trino
• React knowledge is a plus

This role isn't for you, if you

• Prefer working on small, isolated tasks only
• Do not enjoy solving data or performance issues
• See testing, monitoring, and documentation as unimportant
• Are not comfortable working with cloud infrastructure and databases
• Are not interested in using new tools, including AI-assisted development tools
