Data Engineer Internship

Title: Data Engineering Intern [Paid Internship]

Location: Seattle, WA [Hybrid first with first few months in Seattle office for team building and bonding). Office close to University of WA in Seattle

Duration: ASAP, Apr 1 - Sep 30 (6 months)

Hushh is looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join our dynamic and passionate team. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the UX Designer, Software Developer and Software Engineering Intern to help bring the hushh wallet to life. You will be responsible for ensuring that the user's data flows seamlessly through the product and creates a magical flywheel of data.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the UX Designer, Software Developer and Software Engineering Intern to ensure that the product meets our user's needs

Design and build data pipelines that integrate with various APIs and databases

Develop ETL processes to transform and clean data

Help with data modeling and database design

Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure

Work with our Data Science team to develop data-driven insights and models

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field

Strong programming skills in Python, Java or Scala

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts

Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines

Knowledge of data warehousing and data integration concepts

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have:

Prior experience with security and data products on iOS and Android

Prior experience in helping startups go from 0 to 1
