Data Engineer (Join ASAP)

Role Description The Data Engineer (Join ASAP) will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and business operations. This contract role is based on-site in Tangerang and involves collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data needs and ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models and warehousing solutions, monitoring data workflows, and troubleshooting data quality or performance issues. The Data Engineer will also contribute to documentation, follow best practices for security and governance, and support continuous improvement of the data platform.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to support scalable analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools.
• Ability to perform Data Analytics tasks to validate data and support business insights.
• Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used for data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, and modern data platforms or cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and governance best practices is an advantage.
