Job Description

We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Data Engineer with 1–4 years of professional experience in data engineering, particularly in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services, with experience in data integration and processing from various sources.

The successful candidate will work with the team to develop reliable data pipelines, support data integration initiatives, and ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability for business and analytical needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Develop and maintain data integration workflows to consolidate data from various sources.
• Use Python and SQL to process, transform, validate, and analyze data.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to support data engineering workflows and pipeline operations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) to support data integration and warehousing.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure data reliability.
• Implement data validation and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, integration processes, and workflows.
• Follow established coding standards, development practices, and data governance guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in data engineering, particularly in building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, transformation, and querying.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in a data engineering environment.
• Experience with data integration, ingestion, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data pipeline architecture.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and scheduling tools, such as Apache Airflow, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on a hybrid setup in BGC, Taguig City, 2–3 days onsite per week, on a dayshift schedule.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php85,000.00 per month
