• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Oversee the implementation of big data solutions using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Manage data architecture and infrastructure to enable efficient storage and processing of large datasets.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of data for reporting and insights.
• Implement real-time data processing systems for critical business applications.
• Utilise cloud platforms to optimise data engineering workflows and storage solutions.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of distributed systems and data infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide team members to achieve engineering excellence.

The Successful Applicant A Successful Data Engineer Manager Should Have

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of both NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
• Proven expertise in building and managing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Understanding of real-time data processing frameworks and big data technologies.
• Solid grasp of data architecture and infrastructure design.
