Data Engineer (Mid Level)

We seek a Data Engineer who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

Kindly note that this position is open to Vietnamese candidates or candidates currently residing in Vietnam only. Location: Vietnam (HN/DN/HCM) YOU WILL GET THE CHANCE TO:

• Build Bronze tables from Raw CDC files following the Edison TDD pattern (full load, then merge of change records).
• Raw-to-Bronze reconciliation per table, alongside the CDC engineers.
• Build Silver and Gold tables in PySpark from approved specifications.
• Fix what the CI checks and the business question tests find.
• Help the AI and Platform Engineer wire the Harness checks into CI in the first sprints.
• Prepare the production release: deployment package, runbook, rollback plan, smoke tests.
• Write the as-built documentation and runbooks.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED?

• 4+ years in data engineering with PySpark or Spark SQL on Delta Lake in production.
• Has built pipelines on Databricks, Synapse, or Fabric and can explain MERGE, partitions, and a reload from scratch.
• Solid SQL; has reconciled row counts and totals between layers.
• Uses Git and pull requests daily; has worked with CI checks that block a merge.
• Good at English skills.
