Data Engineer - Mission freelance

Context

Data Engineer position for a leading insurance technology company. The mission is based in Paris 17 and is initially for 3 months with possible renewal. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and fluency in English. Candidates must provide a CV in English along with their full name. Missions

• Designing and implementing data solutions to support business objectives
• Analyzing and interpreting complex data to derive actionable insights
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, models, and reporting tools
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on data-driven decision making

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
2. Expertise with modern data technologies and architectures, such as cloud platforms, big data frameworks, and data warehousing
3. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, and Spark (Databricks)
4. Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques
5. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
6. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
7. Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance best practices
8. Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
