KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Profile and assess current data sources, Qlik Sense/QlikView data models, and existing ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Design and prototype semantic layer data models aligned to the business KPIs defined with the Product Manager and BA.

• Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations using Coalesce on Snowflake.

• Document data lineage, data quality issues, and technical recommendations for the target architecture.

• Collaborate with client IT/data teams to validate the technical feasibility of the proposed roadmap.

• Support recommendations for migrating/modernizing legacy Qlik data models into the new semantic layer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer, with hands-on Snowflake experience (data modeling, performance tuning).

• Hands-on experience with Coalesce, or comparable ELT/transformation tools (e.g., dbt).

• Experience with Qlik Sense / QlikView data models and scripting.

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and semantic layer design.

• Willingness to work onsite in Atlanta, GA for the duration of the engagement.

NICE TO HAVE

• Insurance industry data experience, particularly Life & Health (L&H).

• Experience on data strategy assessments or greenfield data platform builds.

• Familiarity with data governance and data cataloging tools
