Key Responsibilities

1. Data Warehouse Implementation

• Develop and maintain Star/Snowflake schema data models.
• Build and optimize Fact Dimension tables on Snowflake.

2. Data Modeling

• Strong understanding of Kimball/Inmon methodologies.
• Implement SCD Types 1 2, and CDC (Change Data Capture) frameworks.
• Design schemas that support enterprise-level reporting and BI.

3. Data Quality Mapping

• Create detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation.
• Build automated validation frameworks to maintain a single source of truth.

4. Advanced SQL Development

• Write efficient SQL with complex joins, window functions, and CTEs.
• Perform SQL performance tuning for large datasets.

5. Performance Tuning Optimization

• Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in pipelines and Snowflake.
• Optimize ETL/ELT jobs to reduce latency and Snowflake credit usage.
• Ensure all data pipelines meet strict performance SLAs.
