Data Engineer (Snowflake + Python)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using ELT frameworks and orchestration patterns.
• Develop and maintain data models and data warehouse architecture in Snowflake.
• Build and manage dbt models for data transformation, documentation, and lineage tracking.
• Write efficient, reusable Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and automation.
• Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and Snowflake queries while enforcing data quality and governance.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Python for data manipulation, ingestion, and automation.
• Snowflake for schema design, performance tuning, and security.
• Scalable data pipeline and warehouse performance optimization practices.
• Data transformation and documentation using dbt, including lineage tracking.

Good to Have:

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong SQL skills for large-scale datasets.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
