Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer Trainer to train students and working professionals in modern data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.

The candidate should be able to deliver practical, project-based training and help learners develop industry-ready data engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training on Data Engineering concepts and tools.
• Teach SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data pipeline development.
• Provide hands-on training in Apache Spark, PySpark, and Apache Airflow.
• Train learners on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Explain data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.
• Design practical assignments, real-time projects, and case studies.
• Develop training materials, presentations, exercises, and assessments.
• Guide learners through end-to-end data engineering projects.
• Evaluate learner progress and provide technical support.
• Keep training content updated with current industry practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Git, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a Data Engineer or in a related technical role.
• Previous experience delivering technical training or mentoring.
• Experience with real-time industry projects and practical demonstrations.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing or data engineering are an advantage.
