Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Engineering & Reporting Manager to lead our data architecture, management, and analytics initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development of scalable data pipelines, implement robust data models, and drive business intelligence solutions that empower strategic decision-making. Your expertise will help shape our cloud-based data infrastructure and optimize performance across our systems.

Duties

• Design and develop scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using tools like Informatica and Spark to facilitate efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Architect and implement cloud database solutions utilizing AWS, Azure Data Lake, and Azure cloud infrastructure to support large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects.
• Lead the development of data models and system designs that enhance data management, integration, and accessibility across multiple platforms.
• Manage the implementation of master data management strategies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of critical business data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights.
• Conduct performance tuning and scalability assessments on database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Oversee system design for system development projects involving big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases to support advanced analytics initiatives.

Skills

• Extensive experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra for flexible data storage solutions.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for cloud database architecture and infrastructure deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies for project management and iterative development cycles.
• Programming expertise in Java and Python for building robust data pipelines and automation scripts.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, and data warehousing design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica for ETL development and data integration tasks.
• Familiarity with Linked Data concepts for semantic web applications and advanced data linking strategies.
• Expertise in Spark for big data processing alongside Hadoop ecosystem components.
• Skills in Data Architecture Design (architecture design skills), Data Modeling projects, System design for system development, Data management integration, Cloud infrastructure setup, Data warehousing implementation & design.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques to optimize database systems for scalability and efficiency.
• Ability to lead complex data analytics initiatives with a focus on delivering high-quality insights through business intelligence tools.
