Data Engineering Solutions Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Data Engineering Solutions Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on driving enterprise sales for technical data solutions, with a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs and translating them into business outcomes. You will partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and internal stakeholders to shape go-to-market execution and support customer success. The position also calls for strategic engagement with senior decision-makers and a deep command of data engineering and data lakehouse concepts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic account management
• Execute sales plays to optimize the company's data engineering platform for customers
• Engage with customers to understand data engineering needs and influence product development
• Become a product expert and provide strategic insights to customers
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to drive customer engagements
• Analyze sales performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes
• Integrate data engineering sales efforts with overall go-to-market strategies

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 6 years in sales of technical solutions to enterprise customers
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in competitive environments
• Experience with solution-based selling and complex sales processes
• Proven ability to independently develop and close new client relationships
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives
• In-depth knowledge of data engineering and data lakehouse technologies
• Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams
