Data Entry Assistant/ Executive

Key Responsibilities (Job Scope)

1. Stock Receiving & Inspection

• Unload incoming shipments and verify delivery notes against physical quantities.
• Inspect items for damages, defects, or missing pieces upon arrival; report discrepancies immediately.

2. Inventory Tracking & Data Entry

• Update the ERP daily with incoming and outgoing stock.

• Log inventory movements (e.g., transfers between locations, stock issued for production/sales).

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital filing records of delivery orders and invoices.

 3. Stock Count & Quality Control

• Perform routine cycle counts (daily/weekly physical counts) and participate in full stocktake audits.
• Investigate and flag any differences between physical counts and system records to the supervisor.
• Ensure stock is rotated correctly, following standard methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to prevent obsolescence or expiration.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, O-Levels, or equivalent (Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus but not required)
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, retail, or inventory environments (Entry-level candidates are welcome; training will be provided).
• Basic computer literacy (familiarity with Microsoft Excel is highly preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry habits.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and reconciling stock.
