Data Entry Clerk

Job Purpose

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining company information and records in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update data accurately into company databases, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.
• Review documents and verify information for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical records.
• Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets, registers, and data reports.
• Scan, upload, organize, and file documents as required.
• Assist with maintaining employee and administrative records.
• Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, mobilization, and employee documentation data.
• Perform data verification and reconciliation when required.
• Retrieve and provide information from databases and records as requested.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Administration, Computer Applications, or a related field is an advantage.
• 3 years of experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative work.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience with ERP, HRMS, or database systems is an advantage.
• Good typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
