Data Entry I

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings.  They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

 

Introduction :

Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Data Entry I to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 3 months with potential to extend

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Location : Toronto, ON

Location Type: Onsite

Business Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret source documents, including Account Applications, client onboarding forms, and supporting documentation.
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain client information in internal systems and tracking spreadsheets.
• Validate data by comparing source documents against existing records and project requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or escalate issues to project leads when required.
• Compile, sort, and verify information before data entry to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on completed work to minimize errors.
• Maintain logs and records of completed work, outstanding items, and identified issues.
• Meet established productivity and accuracy targets while working independently.
• Follow documented procedures, privacy requirements, and data governance standards.
• Collaborate with project team members to support project deadlines and deliverables.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years of data entry experience required.
• Experience reviewing client account documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365- Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Banking/Financial experience.
• SharePoint experience.
