Data Entry Specialist - Cafe

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our vibrant café team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data related to daily operations, customer orders, inventory, and administrative records. Your technical proficiency and keen attention to detail will ensure seamless data flow, supporting efficient café management and exceptional customer service. Duties

• Enter and update data in various databases, including customer information, sales transactions, and inventory records with precision and speed
• Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to process orders, track stock levels, and generate reports
• Maintain organized digital files and physical records through effective filing systems
• Use Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel for document creation, data analysis, and report generation
• Create and manage spreadsheets with pivot tables, formulas, and charts to analyze sales trends and inventory movements
• Handle confidential information with integrity, ensuring privacy standards are upheld at all times
• Perform accurate 10-key typing tasks for transcriptions, invoicing, and other administrative functions
• Assist with basic office tasks such as filing documents, answering customer inquiries, and supporting team members as needed

Experience

• Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles within a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel for data analysis and pivot tables
• Familiarity with database systems and ERP software used in retail or hospitality settings
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated accuracy in data entry tasks with a focus on quality over speed
• Basic math skills for verifying calculations and ensuring data integrity
• Experience handling confidential information responsibly while maintaining compliance with privacy policies
