Data Entry Specialist

Duties

• Enter, update, and maintain data within multiple database systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms with accuracy and speed
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and other productivity software to create reports, spreadsheets, and documents
• Perform data collection from various sources and input information into designated systems while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data
• Conduct data analysis using Excel functions to identify trends or discrepancies that require attention
• Manage order entry processes efficiently, ensuring timely processing of customer requests and transactions
• Organize and file physical and digital records systematically for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Assist with transcription tasks, converting audio or handwritten notes into digital formats with precision
• Support customer service efforts by providing accurate information derived from data records when needed

Skills

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in databases, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheets creation
• Excellent typing skills with a minimum of 10-key typing speed for rapid data entry
• Skilled in office experience including word processing, filing, and handling confidential information responsibly
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and data validation purposes
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Technical proficiency in using productivity software for data collection, entry, and reporting tasks
• Experience with data entry in Excel or similar spreadsheet applications to facilitate accurate data management
• Good communication skills to support customer service initiatives when interacting with team members or clients

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
