Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry / Support Specialist to support critical operations for a fast-growing accounting automation platform serving the restaurant industry. In this role, you will focus on monitoring store integrations, performing routine data entry, running reports, and responding to operational alerts during overnight hours. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured systems environment, excels at following documented processes, and works well independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration & Outage Monitoring: Monitor restaurant and delivery-platform integrations during overnight hours, reviewing alerts related to store outages, deactivations, or processing issues.
• Data Processing & Entry: Perform accurate data entry, update system records, and run both scheduled and ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Alert Resolution & Reactivation: Follow documented procedures to resolve straightforward operational issues and reactivate stores or complete simple workflow actions when triggered by alerts.
• Escalation & Communication: Escalate issues that fall outside documented processes with clear documentation, collaborating with team members via internal communication and task-management tools.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all tasks while supporting process documentation and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous experience in data entry, back-office support, operations support, or administrative work.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to strictly follow structured workflows, SOPs, and documented procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• Good written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, web-based systems, and standard business software.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.

Preferred

• Experience monitoring workflows, supporting operations, or processing transactions.
• Familiarity with Slack or similar team communication tools.
• Experience working with internal platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Prior exposure to restaurant operations, SaaS platforms, or accounting environments.
