We are expanding our team and looking for a hands-on Python developer to support our sales operations through reliable data extraction and automation.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Data Extraction & Automation Executive who can build, maintain, and optimize Python-based scraping scripts and browser automation workflows. You will be responsible for extracting clean, structured data from websites, directories, and online platforms and delivering it directly to our sales team on a consistent schedule.

This is a hands-on technical role. We need someone who has actually built scrapers, solved anti-bot challenges, and delivered working solutions — not just someone who knows the theory.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python scripts to extract data from websites, business directories, maps platforms, and other online sources
• Build browser automation workflows for dynamic, JavaScript-heavy pages including logins, pagination, infinite scroll, and form interactions
• Use APIs, hidden endpoints, and HTML parsing where more efficient than browser automation
• Handle common scraping challenges including rate limits, CAPTCHAs, session management, proxy rotation, and changing page structures
• Clean, validate, deduplicate, and structure extracted data into CSV, Google Sheets, or databases
• Maintain and update existing scrapers when source sites change
• Document all code and workflows so others can maintain them
• Follow platform terms of service and applicable data privacy regulations

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years of hands-on Python experience with a portfolio of real scraping or automation projects
• Strong experience with browser automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer
• Experience with scraping libraries: BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Requests/HTTPX, lxml
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS selectors, XPath, and the browser DevTools network tab
• Experience handling proxies, user-agent rotation, headless browsers, and anti-bot bypass techniques
• Working knowledge of Pandas for data cleaning and transformation
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based scraping infrastructure or scheduling tools
• Familiarity with Google Sheets API or database integration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Knowledge of JavaScript or Node.js for understanding frontend page behavior
• Experience with data pipeline tools or workflow automation platforms
