Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and enforcing data governance policies and standards. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and effective data management across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor and assess data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and business units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
• Support compliance initiatives related to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in creating data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to teams on best practices in data governance and management.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
• Proficiency with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data cataloging solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise across business and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of data lineage, master data management (MDM), and data stewardship processes.
• Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data security frameworks.
